1. lebensgroße, bei Unfalltests in Kraftfahrzeugen verwendete [Kunststoff]puppe.
2. (auch das) Attrappe, Schaupackung, Probeband (für Werbezwecke).
3. Platzhalter für einen Programmteil od. für Daten, der nach außen die Eigenschaften des Originals vortäuscht, wenn z. B. beim Entwickeln u. Testen von ↑Programmen noch nicht alle Bestandteile fertiggestellt sind (EDV).
